Alternative Endings

May 21, 2010

If I’m not pregnant, then some causes for my high progesterone might be: ovarian cysts, a rare form of ovarian cancer, overproduction of progesterone by the adrenal glands or congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH).

Let’s go research those, shall we?

(Two negative tests, yesterday and today, 9 and 10 days post ovulation respectively.)

It’s still early for a positive test. Keep the faith! Wishin and hopin for ya.

And isn’t it strange and wonderful, following along with folks you’ve never met from their marriages to ttc? It feels like this big ole family and I love it.

I think it’s very possible you’re pregnant. I didn’t get a positive until 12 dpo with the chemical and my wife got a very faint positive 14 dpo when she was pregnant with our DD. So I think it’s VERY possible you’re testing too early.

    Try to hang in there!

As a side note, CAH very definitely would have been diagnosed in you by now. So rest easy knowing that one is 99.9% not the cause!! Here’s hoping that the baby vibes stay in the forefront of your mind.

Hang in few more days to test. Sending good thoughts your way!!!

  4. I too didn’t get a positive until 12DPO. Hold on to that hope lady. Thinking of you.
